eManners: Providing solutions for behaviors within communications media

Cyberbullying, boundary violations, piracy, online affairs, addictions, etc. are now major problems in our schools, workplaces, social circles, and society in general. Technology and media have provided for easy and efficient means to connect, communicate, market, and entertain. Personal, professional, and social boundaries are more difficult to manage and maintain as a result. eManners: Social Skills for eLife, eBIZ, & edu is a series of environment-specific workshops and presentations that provide an in-depth look at our thoughts and behaviors within our use of communications media that include texting, email, photo/video/music sharing, social networking, etc. Further, eManners presentations and workshops provide basic guidelines by which media use must be governed if we are to use it in ways that do not cause harm and/or injury but in ways that maintain and enhance integrity.
eManners curricula are specially tailored to the environment, e.g., eLife for general media use for adults and/or teenagers, eBIZ for business and corporate settings and relationships, and edu for school and college settings and academic relationships. Each curriculum includes parts of other curricula to address increasingly blurry boundaries between life compartments.
